1. Introduction

The Fox Within ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our coaching application for people who want to grow and are easily distracted.

This app is not intended to provide medical advice.

Local storage: SQLite database with encryption on your device.

Cloud storage: Supabase servers located in North America (United States).

Use without login: You may use the app without creating an account. In this case, your data is stored only on your device. When you later sign in or create an account, you can choose to merge your local data with your cloud account.

All data is transmitted via HTTPS/TLS encryption.

5. Data Sharing

We only share data with Supabase for cloud storage and sync. Supabase does not use your data for any purpose other than providing these services. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or other third parties.

You have the right to:

Account deletion

To permanently delete your account and associated data in The Fox Within:

  1. Open the app.
  2. Tap the menu icon in the top-left corner to open the side menu.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Under Account Settings, tap Delete Account.
  5. Read the warning. Type DELETE ACCOUNT in the confirmation field, then tap Confirm Delete.

When you confirm, we permanently delete your profile and settings, task records and history, focus session records, daily review content, and locally stored data tied to your account (as shown in the app). This action cannot be undone. We complete deletion within a reasonable time after your request, except where the law requires us to retain certain information.

If you cannot use the app (for example, you lost access to your device), email us at thefoxwithinapp@gmail.com from the address registered to your account and ask us to delete your account. We may ask you to verify your identity.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

9. Children's Privacy

The Fox Within is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

11. Canadian Privacy Rights (PIPEDA)

Your data is stored in North America (United States). By using our app, you consent to this transfer. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
